Wanderwood Farm is Colin Fischer and Jen Finch, and we began growing food in the winter of 2014 on a homestead near Sumas Mountain. We decided to have a garden that could be irrigated with rainwater using a solar charged pump. Armed with a walk-behind rototiller, many yards of compost, and lots of determination, we turned a quarter acre of hillside pasture into food and flowers.
After two seasons with plenty of food and personal satisfaction, we found we loved growing healthy, fresh food and were dedicated to this lifestyle.
In the fall of 2016 we started leasing 2 acres of fertile land near the Nooksack River. We absolutely love working the land and providing certified organic and sustainably grown food for our community!
